Word from the Executive Director: OCMP Update for October 18, 2005

October 18, 2005

I am pleased to announce we are currently completing the final site work including new roadways to facilitate our new mausoleum buildings in Toms River, New Jersey. This new roadway will facilitate easier access to our buildings. We continue to beautify the grounds adding new decorative plantings throughout the cemetery. This has been a strong building year for us as we have completed our new mausoleum building complex and made numerous site improvements. We firmly believe that Ocean County Memorial Park is the most picturesque and best maintained cemetery in the State of New Jersey.

A great deal of progress, aside from weather conditions, has been made to our Waretown mausoleum project. The chapel structure is rising from the ground as well as the mausoleum building. This large project is progressing very well and will be a great benefit to the residents of Ocean County. The New Jersey Turnpike Authority continues to work on creating north and southbound access to the Garden State Parkway very close to our cemetery entrance. This welcome addition will make our facility more easily accessible for all families to visit. I would welcome anyone interested in seeing this construction to visit our facility or contact one of our counselors for a personal tour of this unique construction project.
