Waretown Updates
I am pleased to announce we have received our final certificate of occupancy for our Waretown Mausoleum / Chapel facility. I would like to compliment our entire staff for the effort they have put forth in helping to create this facility. I believe this project to be our finest mausoleum facility and am confident it will serve the needs of Ocean Township for years to come.
We continue to improve the grounds at our Waretown Cemetery and recently had four additional flagpoles installed to display American flags in the patriotic way we have done at Toms River. The grounds at Waretown are supplied by our irrigation system in most areas and we are continuing to further develop our irrigation system on an annual basis.
We also anticipate having our first Candlelight Service this year at our Waretown Chapel. The Annual Candlelight Service in Toms River has continued to grow in popularity and I firmly believe Waretown will embrace this program.
Toms River Updates
Our next mausoleum project in Toms River has received Planning Board approval and we are anticipating final approval from the county and various agencies to commence this project. We have ordered our soil boring tests and are hopeful to start this project within the next month. This project will be in addition to our most recent Toms River building and will offer an open air atrium, as well as an enclosed chapel and a special feature niche room.
We have also completed the next phase of rebuilding our irrigation system in Toms River and plan on having the full irrigation system renovation project completed by mid-summer of next year.
The Annual Candlelight Service has been scheduled for Saturday, December 13, 2008. Our poinsettia and wreath program has commenced. |
