Word from the Executive Director: OCMP Update for November 22, 2004

November 22, 2004

I am pleased to announce that construction has commenced on our new chapel mausoleum project in Toms River, New Jersey. Pictures are now available on the website depicting the construction progress. The contractor is very enthusiastic about this project and has gotten off to a very good start. We hope to have the concrete portion of this job completed by March 2005 and should complete the building midsummer. This building will be a new design for mausoleum buildings at Ocean County Memorial Park. We are using different granite on the exterior of this building, as well as unique marble selections for the interior chapel area. This building will also feature unique oak niche glass front features which will enhance the beauty of the interior chapel area that will be heated and air conditioned.

We continue our efforts in securing a building permit for our Waretown, New Jersey project and to work with the local authorities concerning sewer approvals. We are optimistic of advancing this project so that a spring 2005 construction start will take place.

Our entire staff is busy preparing for our annual candlelight service to be held on December 11, 2004. On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to extend pleasant holiday wishes to all of the families we deal with.
