Word from the Executive Director: OCMP Adds New Virtual Tours to Web Site

March 16, 2004

I am pleased to announce that the virtual tour feature of our website has now been initiated. I would welcome everyone to view the various chapel facilities that have been selected for the commencement of this program. We look forward to adding additional virtual tours of various features and areas of the cemetery in the coming months. I would like to extend my appreciation to all involved in creating this virtual tour of our facility.

Interest continues to grow in Ocean County Memorial Park as we strive to provide the best cemetery services available in the state. In the near future we hope to have power point presentations that will be available to interested families as we continue to expand and meet the needs of Ocean County.

Word from the Executive Director: Construction nears on new mausoleum building

March 12, 2004

I am pleased to announce that we are getting very close to commencing construction on Mausoleum Building Twelve at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River, New Jersey. We anticipate construction to commence in April. We also continue to make progress in Waretown as our building plans are nearing final stages of approval. We are optimistic in being under construction this summer at our Waretown cemetery. Both these facilities will be state of the art mausoleum/chapel buildings. Choice mausoleum locations are still available, however, sales have been very active and those seeking above ground entombment should request information about these two new projects.

Word from the Executive Director: OCMP Receives Approval For New Site Plan

March 05, 2004

I am pleased to announce that approval was received from the Township of Ocean Land Use Board at its March 4, 2004 hearing. This application concerning Ocean County Memorial Park at Waretown was for preliminary / final major site plan approval. This represents a significant event in our continuing efforts to construct our Chapel / Mausoleum facility. The Township of Ocean was very interested in this project and offered support in all of our efforts to memorialize the citizens of the Township of Ocean.

This project consists of a mausoleum facility allowing for 1,232 mausoleum entombments, as well as niches. An elaborate chapel facility and meditation area will be provided together with an office facility, rest rooms and gathering rooms for family meetings. We are very enthusiastic about this project.
