Word from the Executive Director: OCMP Update for September 24, 2004

September 24, 2004

Ocean County Memorial Park has been a proud member of the New Jersey Cemetery Association for the past twenty-five years. We have been active with this state wide association and members of our group have served as Presidents and Trustees of this association for cemeteries. We closely follow the laws governing cemeteries in New Jersey and are diligently aware of consumer issues, as well as business operations of cemeteries throughout the state. The management team at Ocean County Memorial Park believes strongly in operating our cemeteries in accordance with all laws applicable, as well as in a compassionate and businesslike way. As Executive Director, it has been my pleasure to serve in this capacity for approximately thirty years and I am very proud of our team and the accomplishments we have made.

Word from the Executive Director: OCMP Update for September 2, 2004

September 02, 2004

I am pleased to announce we are making progress on both mausoleum projects that are currently pending. We are waiting issuance of a building permit for our Toms River project. The builder has been on site to coordinate the initial details of construction. The land has been cleared. Our Waretown mausoleum project is moving forward with regard to the sewer application process and efforts are underway to attempt to receive local approval to commence construction of the mausoleum building prior to the office / chapel building. Both of these projects offer new design and comfort for those that will come to pay respect. We believe they will be the finest mausoleum buildings constructed in New Jersey.

Planning has also commenced for our annual candlelight service which will be held on December 11, 2004 in our Toms River facility. Mailers will be sent out in the near future for wreath, blanket and poinsettia orders for this annual event. Several additional projects are underway, as well, further beautifying our cemeteries
