Word from the Executive Director: OCMP Update for June 9, 2008

June 09, 2008

We recently held a reception at our new Waretown Mausoleum / Chapel facility for funeral directors in the Ocean County area. The building is now staffed on a seven day per week basis and has received a great deal of praise from all who have visited this facility. We are completing the installation of street lights and anticipate receipt of a full certificate of occupancy within the next two weeks. We believe all matters concerning this building to be complete as relates to local and state requirements. Entombments have been made in the building and many services have taken place. I, once again, compliment our entire staff for all of their efforts with regard to this project.

We have completed all engineering requests for our new mausoleum project in Toms River, New Jersey. We expect to make our presentation to the town within the next few weeks. This building will feature a separate niche room facility unlike any other we have created in our mausoleum complex. We believe this will be well received by the public and be a great benefit to Ocean County.

Our grounds staff has commenced our upgrade program to our in-ground irrigation systems with the hope of having all irrigation systems operating for the summer months approaching.
